St.Paul's committees:

  Parish education  -Plans and carries out Sunday School program for children and adults. Special programs include Advent Wreath Making (Fall), Bible Studies, Intergenerational Family Camp (Summer), Music Camp. ELCA Christian Education Site

  Evangelism — “Sharing the Good News”. Visitors follow up. Creating a welcoming atmosphere with up to date displays, bulletin board, information in Welcome Center. Telephone contact with inactive members. Assimilate gifts and involvement of New Members into the Life of the Congregation. ELCA Evangelism Site

  Fellowship — Coordinates and hosts social events such as annual picnic, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Valentines Day Dance, outings and trips.

  Property & Management — Responsible for maintaining our Church property and involved in new building projects.

   Stewardship — Encourages offering of time, talent, and monetary gifts to support congregational ministries. Provides accountability of church financial structure and presents the budget.   ELCA stewardship site

  Welfare & Social Action — Serving Jesus by responding to human needs locally and globally. Activities include sponsoring Bloodmobile, providing nutritional meals to those in need, funeral dinners, quilts for Lutheran World Relief, volunteers for Make-A-Way, and meeting for Alcoholics Anonymous. They actively support community outreach programs with Christmas giving, food collections, coat collections, and back to school supplies. ELCA church in Society site.

Worship & Music — Work directly with Pastors and Staff to creatively lift up the many gifts of God’s people in praises of the Lord.
Includes:
Drama Team Adults interested in acting; short skits.
Tech Team Willing to use computer and photography skills in
service of Christ.
Altar Guild Decorate, altar care, and communion preparation.
Usher/Host Hand out bulletins, welcome worshippers.
Readers Read scripture in church.  ELCA Worship Site

Youth Committee— Work with Pastor and Staff to plan and carry out
youth service, educational and recreational activities, including ELCA
National Youth Gathering Convention, annual Youth worship service. ELCA Youth site

  Scholarship Committee — coordinates awarding of scholarships to St. Paul’s college students.

  Staff Support — Handles staff and personnel concems.
